WHAT COURSES ARE OFFERED HERE?
The following courses are currently offered at the FalconStor Distance Learning Center:
IPStor v5.1 Basic Training
This course is designed to replace the in-house IPStor Basic Training, and provides all the material taught by FalconStor for that class, with the obvious exception of in-house computer lab work. This is the most comprehensive IPStor training we have offered to date, and includes sections on FalconStor's CDP, CDR, DiskSafe and FileSafe, as well as summary review sections and quizzes to help prepare for the IPStor Certification Exam.
VTL Levels 1-3 (Basic)
These three levels encompass theory, design, and administration of the VTL (VirtualTape Library) appliance and are designed to provide customers with a working knowledge of FalconStor's VTL. After completion of these instruction levels, customers will have a working knowledge of their VTL appliance, including solution design, installation, configuration, basic administration, and basic troubleshooting.
VTL Levels 4-6 (Advanced)
These three levels are available for partners who wish to perform field installations of VTL. They cover advanced deployment-related topics that are not discussed in the VTL Instruction Levels 1-3.
VTL-5/SIR Basic Training
This course will include training on features new to VTL-5/SIR, and is designed to aid the VTL/SIR Administrator in learning the product overall. By the time you finish this course, you should be able to create Virtual Tape Libraries to match present Physical Tape Libraries, assign Virtual Tape Libraries to Windows backup clients, set up Auto-Archive, Auto-Replication or Tape Caching, DeDuplication and generally perform basic tasks on the VTL/SIR Server.
